- A command line interface (CLI) is a mechanism for interacting with the computer operating system or software by typing commands to perform certain tasks.
- This text is just a different interface to use a mouse pointer with a graphical user interface (GUI) to click option, or the menus on the user interface text (TUI) for the options chosen.

- A graphical user interface (GUI) is a type of user interface item that allows people to interact with programs in more ways than typing such as computers , hand-held devices such as MP3 players.
- A GUI offers graphical icons, and visual indicators, as opposed to text-based interfaces.
ADVANTAGES OF GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE
- Easy to learn and use.
The user may switch quickly from one task to another and can interact with several different applications.

4.VOICE-ACTUATED INTERFACE
- A Voice User Interface (VUI) makes human interaction with computers possible through a voice/speech platform in order to initiate an automated service or process.
- The VUI is the interface to any speech application. Controlling a machine by simply talking.

5.WEB BASED FORM INTERFACE
- Web-based user interfaces or web user interfaces (WUI) accept input and provide output by generating web pages which are transmitted via the Internet and viewed by the user using a web browser program.
